Mission Trip 2022

In 2022, it was time to travel again for a week long mission trip. The one thing we have realized, many of our younger generation can't get a week off to go on a trip. Their focus is more the local missions that require a day of time off work or away from school activities.
Because of this, there were 5 adults that went on the 2022 trip back to Wrightsville Beach, NC. Before we left, we verified with WARM that it was worth their time to have 5 adults come and they were like absolutely. The reality is, with many of their groups being large, it is hard to get small projects done. Therefore, we were assigned to work at a house that had been put on hold for a couple months due to lack of WARM staff and too large groups. Our week, the first week of August, was EXTREMELY hot. But while it was a week we felt like we could be baked, flipped and baked again, it was a very worthwhile week. |
