Mission Trip 2023

For 2023, we again headed to Wrightsville Beach to work with WARM. We gave a lot of consideration to change our plans and to head to the Florida area to help with recovery efforts from Hurricane Ian. However, that's not realistic to do in one week. It would be 2 full days driving down, 5 hard work days and 2 full days driving back home. While that's where our hearts were calling us, our heads were stepping in and saying let's be realistic.
One thing that will be changing with this year's trip is it is moving to the second week of September. Why? Let's review 2022....EXTREMELY hot. We checked with most of the young people who would be interested in mission work and they agreed, they just can't dedicate a week to go away. They are more than willing to do local mission work, so that's where we need to focus that group. |
